Mrs. Malissa C. Hall Passed Away at Baskett
Mrs. Malissa C. Hall, age 90, died Thursday morning at 3 o'clock at the residence of her son, Charles Swann, on Fifth Street.  She is survived by another son, Rufus Williamson, in the East End, and a daughter, Mrs. Heck Ballew, of Corydon.  Funeral services and burial will be conducted at the Baskett cemetery tomorrow morning.
 

Tuesday, March 7, 1933:
Charles Elliott
Funeral services for Charles Elliott, 71 years old, a former resident of Henderson who died at noon Sunday at his home in Louisville, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Rudy Rowland Moss Chapel, the Rev. Brown B. Smith, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating.  Burial will be in the Griffin cemetery neah Cash Creek.  The pall bearers will be: Chester Elliott, Eldridge Elliott, Thomas
Morrow, Stanley Morrow, William Sinkhorn and Aaron Sinkhorn.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eva Swann, Mrs. William Griffin and Mrs. Frederick Schiedell, all of Louisville and one brother, James Elliott of the county.

Tuesday, October 18, 1938:
James M. Elliot Taken By Death
James M. Elliot, 83, passed away at the home of his son, Chester Elliot, 428 South Ingram Street, Sunday afternoon at 5:40 o'clock following an illness of two weeks.  He is survived by his wife, Anna, seven children, three daughters, Mrs. Paul Torsch and Mrs. Raymond Dale of Louisville,
and Mrs. John Pennington of Henderson, Richard, Willie, Chester and Elbridge Elliot, all of Henderson, 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held from the Audubon Baptist Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Herbert Schmitz.  Burial will be in
Fernwood cemetery.

Tuesday, June 2, 1931
William Elliott
Funeral services for William Elliott, farmer, who died Saturday at the home of his brother, James Elliott, near Baskett, were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the residence.  Burial was in the Moss cemetery.
