Above is a picture of the Eakins cabin built in 1855 by Enoch George Eakins and Harriett Ford. Twelve of their thirteen children were born in this cabin. The cabin remained in the Eakins family until 1989 when the owners (Bernard & Martha Busby) sold it to Maynard Hust. Maynard has moved the cabin to a new location and the cabin is part of his new home. Bernard is a great-grandson of Enoch and Harriett Eakins.
