SHOULDERS FAMILY RESEARCH
My mother and I have been researching the SHOULDERS line since 1988. While most of our folks are from Smith County, TN we do have a couple of branches that traveled to Kentucky counties. Mostly Webster, Union and Simpson but a couple of WILLIAM IRA SHOULDERS' descendants managed to travel to HENDERSON COUNTY, KENTUCKY.

MALACHI SHOULDERS, born Abt 1780 possibly Chatham Co, NC, died Bef Oct 1839 Smith Co, TN, marr Abt 1805 to MARY (POLLY) GREGORY, born Abt 1789 possibly NC, died Bef Jan 1851. Malachi's parents and siblings are
unknown. Mary's parents were Bry GREGORY (soldier in Revolutionary War) and Christine Elizabeth AUSTIN.

Louisa was born 26 Dec 1824 and died 10 Feb 1864 Tennessee, most likely Smith Co, TN. Louisa's parents were Major GREGORY and Catherine Kate BOSTON.
