The last Will & Testament of Abner Crenshaw dec'd was this day produced in Court and proved by the  oaths of George BROWN, John C. WATKINS, and Sterling FOWLKES,  Subscribing witnesses thereto as the law directs and ordered to be recorded.

In the name of God Amen. I Abner Crenshaw of the county of Henderson being perfect sense and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament revoking all former wills by me made-Item, my will and desire is that all just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate - Item, I loan to my beloved wife, Philadelphia Crenshaw, during her natural life or  widowhood the whole of my estate both real and personal and my will further is that my children living with me at this time be supported and educated out of the proceeds of my estate- Item, I give to my sons, Joseph D. Crenshaw, William S. James H., Austin F., Phineas Tholbert Crenshaw and my daughters, Mary D., Permelia Jane, Louisa Emaran and Martha F. Crenshaw each one bed and furniture and cow and calf to be delivered them wherever they become of lawful ageor marry to them and their heirs forever--Item, My will and desire further is that at the death or marriage of said wife, that the whole of my estate be equally divided between all of my children namely, Elizabeth P. RIDEOUT, Joseph D. CRENSHAW, Nancy T. YEARGIN, Mary D., William S., James H., Austin F., Permelia Jane, Louisa E., Martha F., Phineas Tholbert  CRENSHAW, to them and thir heirs forever--Item, I appoint my said wife, Philadelphia Crenshaw, Executrix of this my last Will & Testament.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 23 day of August1834.

I William D. ALLISON Clerk of the County Court for the County aforesaid, do certify that at a County Court held for the County aforesaid on the 27th day of October 1834 This last will & Testament of Abner Crenshaw dec'd was produced in Court and proved in open Court by the oaths of George Brown, J. C. Watkins, and Sterling Fowlkes Subscribing Witnesses thereto according to law and ordered to be recorded and thereupon the same was truly recorded in my office.  Witness my hand this 27th day of October 1834
