JONES, COSBY, SANNER in Henderson Co., KY by 1810. SANNER, Isaac and family, Thomas, Lovinia & Nancy Anne, left St.Mary's Co., MD,1805/10 and were on the Franklin Co., 1810 census and in Henderson Co., KY by 1813 at least on tax rolls. Nancy Ann SANNER m. William JONES in 1816 Henderson Co., KY. Most of their children are born there: James S., William, Clark, Thomas E., etc. Lovinia Sanner m. Francis COSBY in Henderson Co., KY and Thomas SANNER m. Nancy COLLINS. The Jones clan moves on to Pulaski & Yell co., ARK by 1840. They owned land in Henderson Co. and attended the Graves Creek Church of Christ. Do not know whether William and possibly his father, William JONES came with Sanners from MD or possibly Carolinas. A William JONES was involved in the admin. of Hampton Jones' estate who was from VA. Will be willing to share all info.

Can someone help me find Thomas H. ASHBY? He died in Heber Springs(Cleburne)AR in 1920. Burial took place in Henderson, KY. He had an only child Rosa M. ASHBY who marr. Charles J. ROBINSON in Cleburne County, AR., in 1916. He named brother Henry W. and George ASHBY in his will and also nieces, Melanie Kercheval and Goldie Ashby. Who does this line of ASHBY'S belong to? My grandmother's family left Henderson, Kentucky for California in 1886 or 1887 Her name was Maude Leoma CLEMENT. She was born in Henderson two years before. Her mother was Laura Belle CLEMENT (nee) Justus. Her father was Noah Wilford CLEMENT. I am looking for prior ancestors and current family members.

Trying to find any information on my grandfather, William Laurence NICHOLS he moved here from somewhere in Indiana around the turn of the century and is buried in Fernwood Cemetery on Madison Street. Is there anyone out there who can tell me if there is somewhere I can search to find any death records or anything that might list what town he was acually born in. Like a marriage license or birth certificate's of his children that might give me a clue as where to look for where his parents might be from. I am researching the family of Harriet Minerve FORD (FIORD), b. 1836?--d. 1908, who married Enoch George EAKINS. Harriet's parents were Samuel FORD and Elizabeth SANDEFUr. Harriet and her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth (b. 1838?) and Gabrilla (b. 1839?) were raised by their grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth SANDEFUR. Any info will be appreciated. I am researching the family of Beatrice EZELL (b. in mid 1800's possibly in the Mortons Gap area) and married George HANDLEY. They had 5? children: one being a daughter, Florence.

William G. LOGAN md 1853, Hopkins Co., Ky, Lucinda J. BLEW/BLEU/BLUE, Moved to Texas, then back Hopkins Co., Area, then 1860 moved to Warrick Co., IN where William, Lucinda, and one child died within days of each other, Jan 1873, leaving 7 children, my ancestor Elnora LOGAN was the oldest, age 12. Will exchange data, family history written 1930 said there were realtives in Hopkins and Henderson Co., KY.

We are researching the family of Allen J. and Sarah J. TOOMEY. They resided in Union and Henderson Counties in the late 1870's into the 1900's. Their children were: Mary, Elizabeth, Thomas Jefferson, Margaret, Sarah Martha (Mattie), Leona, Allen James, Robert, and William Francis. Allen also had a son Henry C. TOOMEY. Thomas Jefferson married Elizabeth Ann FOWLER in Henderson on January 8, 1890. She was the daughter of Henry S. and Mary Louisa FOWLER of Henderson. We would appreciate any information about the TOOMEY and FOWLER families.

I'm searching for information on the John and Mary Gibson Pierce Franklin FAMILY. JOHN was supposedly born in Warren Co KY Mary in Russell Co KY she married a PIERCE and had children Ernest and Laura later she supposedly married and had children Margaret (Maggie), Earl, John, Arthur and Carl by John Robert FRANKLIN. They are listed in the 1900 and 1910 census. I am searching for ancestors form Henderson, Union, Webster counties KY. Andy DUNCAN married Dora???. They has 6 children, Ira, Nathan, Mary, Laura, Grover, Virgil. I know that they lived around Corydon, KY. I dont know any info on Andy and Dora. Have been told that when Dora died the younger children, Grover and Virgil, Grover went to live with Guy and Anna CATES. I think Virgil went to live with one of the older brothers or sisters. Grover is my grandfather, people used to call him "Jake". Any info on the Duncan's from this area is appreciated. Even info on the Cates family, someone might remember my grandfather. He died in 1953, before I was born.
